NOT ALL SAINTS ARE CHRIST’S!!

NOT ALL SAINTS ARE CHRIST’S!!

Do I have your attention? Good now that I do let me explain my statement before y’all accuse me of being a heretic.

You see, some saints haven’t given THEMSELVES to Him
Romans 12:1-2 KJV
“1.I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2.And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

But those who have given themselves to Him are sanctified
1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 KJV
“3.For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4.That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;”

You see, at this point the saint has reckoned the old man to be “dead indeed unto sin” (Romans 6:11). They are walking “in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25), and so have crucified the flesh (outward sanctification) with the affections and lusts (inward sanctification) II Corinthians 7:1

So knowing all of this the question I would pose to you and me is this, ARE WE (THE CHILDREN OF GOD) CHRIST’S? Have we given our lives wholly and completely to Him? Matthew 16:24 talks about the Christian taking up his cross and following Him. In order to do this we MUST “deny himself” – die to self and the world, in order to live unto Christ. God bless you all.
